We might caught by surprise of what happened to our beloved nation. Succeeding strong typhoons battered the most of Luzon and caused lot of destructions both in infrastructure and agriculture. You might paused to think, why did these kind of series of calamities battered our country?
Filipino people think a lot of things now adays, some say it's a vengeance of the mother nature while others say it's a punishment from God for the sins of the nation. One blog posts from a popular social network Facebook gets a lot of nasty reactions from all Filipino across the globe. The author receded and vehemently denied that she did the comment and was explaining that her page was hacked.
Whatever it was...let us paused to think deeply the opposite of those reactions to the said comment...(please don't misinterpret me for i don't condone such kind of harsh comment in this kind of situation) however, my point is that the author whoever he/she might be had some deep truths to share although the message was not compose and communicated well.
Come on we should not be hypocrites to admit that the Philippines indeed continue to sin against the commandments of God. It's just ironic that a lot of people suffered for those errors that seems right for others to make.
In my personal opinion, to get to the root of the crisis our nation facing...we need to pray hard, act at once to get the REAL TRUTH into the life of our kababayan both abroad and within our country.
The truth that the Filipino people used to forget and ascribe the glory, adoration and worship that only God deserved. Instead, if there's something good happened we give honor to other gods and goddesses that invite the wrath of God to come.
i don't want to make a lengthy thing to say here, but let everyone think of the following (your reactions are much welcome):
Simula pong pinatayo ang malaking BRUHA dun sa EDSA bilang parangal pagkatapos ng EDSA 1 na naibalik ang demokrasya sa bansa ay kasumpa-sumpa ang inabot ng Pilipinas mula sa lindol (yung gumuho ang isang hotel sa Baguio), malalakas na bagyo, pagbaha, sunog, walang katapusang coup d'etat sa pamahalaang Aquino atbp.
Remember, that for the whole of the Ten Commandments God Himself gave to Moses only the 2nd Commandment is WITH A CURSE if not followed. At yun po ang nangyari sa ating bansa.
For giving thanks and praise for the bloodless and peaceful revolution called EDSA 1 to the Almighty God who gave us back our freedom what did the so called religious (shall i call them religious non-sense) thankful for and gave the glory and honor to? Sa MALAKING KULAY BROWN AT UBOD NG PANGIT NA TILA BRUHA na reyna daw ng Pilipinas??? Lord have mercy on them and to our country. We pray that these people will be enlightened and will acknowledge you as a jealous God who NEVER partake honor nor share the glory with any gods.
If you passed that site (for sure you did everytime you'll to POEA) there's a big sign there with the Old Testament quotation taken from the Book of 2 Chron 7:14
"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
It's so ironic that the message of that well known verse of repentance and turning away from sin and coming back to God doesn't fit to be inscribed with that idol thing above which God clearly forbids and hate.
Until that thing still stand it there...surely our nation will suffer God's wrath and the real repentance will not visible the situation of our country will not change.
Let us not wait that the wrath of God will break that BRUHA into pieces...i suggest that it should be change by an empty cross same that of Bataan's Dambana ng Kagitingan.
However, it would be difficult to pursue such desire not until our people unite and decide to change as per the Bible teaches. Let's start with our family first, those brothers and sisters, parents, relatives and friends that stick to the traditional religious non-sense where once we belong. But thank God he delivered us from there.
Marami tayong ginagawa araw-araw para mabuhay, mag-aral, maghanapbuhay, magpakasaya, magpakalungkot - mga bagay na nauukol sa ating sarili at kapwa.
Kung may 24 na oras sa isang araw, lumilitaw na meron tayong 168 oras sa loob ng isang linggo.
Ang tanong - gaano ba kaliit na panahon ang ibinibigay natin sa ating sarili at kapwa, at gaano naman kalaki ang oras na ibinibigay natin para sa Dakilang Lumikha sa loob ng napakaraming oras na ito?
Guilty tayong lahat sa pagkalimot sa lalong mahalagang bagay - ang maglingkod at sumamba sa ating Panginoong Diyos.
At lalong malungkot na eksena, marami ang nagsasagawa ng paglilingkod na nakaukol sa Diyos ngunit mali naman ang paraan.
Naalala ko tuloy nitong nakaraang mga delubyo. Ang tao’y nakaalala sa Diyos na magliligtas sa kanya sa panahon ng matinding kabagabagan.
Pero ang masaklap, bagama’t Diyos ang naiisip lapitan, kung sinu-sinong santo ang niluluhuran at kung kani-kaninong pangalan ang sinasambitla.
Ang tunay na Diyos ay mapanibughuin. Hindi ba’t nag-alab ang galit ng Diyos sa Israel na matapos niyang tulungan at gawan ng mga himala mula pa noong panahon ni Moses ay gumawa ng rebulto ni Baal at iyon ang sinamba?
Galit ang Diyos sa sumasamba sa ibang diyos samakatwid baga’y sa mga diyus-diyusan.
Klaro ito. Walang gray area. Bakit hindi ito maunawaan kahit ng mga may mataas na pinag-aralan?
Ngayon, magtataka ba tayo kung bakit tayo’y niluluray ng mga kalamidad? Ngitngit ng langit!

Ito ang pinakamatinding paalala sa atin. Tayong mga buhay pa ay may natitira pang oras huwag madamay sa galit ng Diyos.

Pilipinas...pagkatapos ng unos...Dakilang Katapatan Mo O Diyos ay natatanaw. Purihin Ka O Hesus! Diyos at Panginoon ng Bansang Pilipinas.
Ikaw lamang ang karapat-dapat na sambahin at papurihan at sa'Yo namin itatalaga at iaalay ang aming bansa. Alisin N'yo po ang mga diyos-diyosan sa aming bayan gaya ng pagwasak mo sa mga diyos-diyosan ng bayang Mong Israel nung unang panahon.
Nawa O Diyos ang Kaluwahatian Mo, Kapayapaan Mo, Kadakilaan Mo ay siyang makita mo sa aming bansa, sa aming mga kababayan at sa buong sandaigdigan.
Maghari Ka Panginoong Hesus sa aming Bayan...Pagalingin Nyo po ang aming bayan sa anumang sakit ng idolatriya, pagbulag-bulagan sa katotohanan, korapsiyon ng aming mga tiwaling pinuno at huwag N'yo pong hayaan na maulit pa ito.
Ang paghuhugas N'yo po sa aming bayan ay laganap upang aming maranasan ang bagong Pilipinas na sumasamba at nagpupuri lamang sa inyo. Ngayon at magpakailanman. Amen.
We have a part to do and act not tomorrow, but now as in right now.
